Project Description
STELLA KOSAN (IMO: 9373591) is a LPG Tanker that was built in 2008 and is sailing under the flag of Singapore.
SOPEX Innovations was contracted to perform a retrofit and replace traditional lights for SOP brand Modular LED Floodlights and Watertight LED Lights as well as SOPEX brand Heavy Duty Modular LED Floodlights.
The retrofit project has a calculated 67% total energy savings , and a Return on Investments Period of just 0.8 years. SOP brand LED retrofits have improved the vessel’s energy efficiency design and reduced lighting energy consumption by 163,637 kWh annually, and 127.4 tonnes less CO2 emission annually.
